Region 7 is the ADCA region of Texas and Louisiana. Each region elects their choice for regional director to serve for a 3 year term. Currently, the regional director is Mark Ballard of Blind Squirrel Farms. You can reach Mark at AdcaRegion7@gmail.com, for any ADCA Dexter related questions.

In 2019, at the suggestion of a breeder named Bob Russell, Jennifer Hunt restarted a project that was done in the past. The project was sending out a list of Dexters that are For sale, to help in the selling of local Dexter cattle. The reimagining of this project went well and was successful very early on. As time as gone on, there has been more advertising and distribution of these regional lists to the general public, resulting in very good results for our breeders and new buyers.

The region's breeders provide Jennifer with listings to be added to the various lists BELOW:

1. For Sale of ADCA registered ( and Dexter steers)
2. For sale of unregistered Dexters and Dexter cross breeds
3. Farm listings- advertising our breeder's farm/ranches, including all livestock and not just Dexters
4. Beef Market allows for breeders to advertise secured processing dates for live steers being finished soon.
5. Buyers list- allows current breeders and new buyers a way to list what they are “in search of” so breeders can reach out to them directly.
